How to Cook Dumplings

Here’s how you can enjoy them at home.

Boil (水煮)

1. Bring a pot of water to a boil.
2. Add the dumplings without thawing.
3. Cook on medium heat for 6–8 minutes, then serve 😋.

1. 准备一锅水并煮滚。
2. 放入未解冻的水饺。
3. 中火煮约 6–8 分钟,即可享用。


Pan-Fry(煎)
1. Heat a little oil in a pan over medium-low heat.
2. Place the dumplings without thawing and pan-fry until the bottom turns golden.
3. Add ¼ cup water (50–60 ml) and cover with a lid.
4. Steam for 5–6 minutes.
5. Uncover and let the remaining water evaporate.
6. Pan-fry for another minute for a crisp bottom, then serve 😋.

1. 平底锅倒入少许油,中小火加热。
2. 放入未解冻的水饺,煎至底部金黄。
3. 加入约 1/4 杯水(50–60 ml),盖锅焖煮 5–6 分钟。
4. 水分收干后,再稍微煎一下,让底部更香脆。

* Avoid thawing - cook straight from the freezer for the best texture.
* Don’t overcrowd the pot or pan.
* For steamboat nights, add dumplings towards the middle of your meal so the broth has flavour.
